The “John Wick” universe is growing: The first trailer for the first spin-off “The Continental” is now available, and it contains a surprising amount of action.
Keanu Reeves is currently providing a massive body count in theaters as super killer John Wick in “John Wick: Chapter 4“. Chad Stahelski’s action film is a big hit despite its high age rating, which means that only adults are allowed to watch it, and it has grossed 271 million US dollars worldwide to date.

With the outlandish killers that are on the loose here, the inclined fan can expect that there will be more than one real skirmish. Clearly, Winston knew some shady and eccentric creatures of the night long before Jardani Jovonovich, as John Wick’s real name is.
The Continental: Can the “John Wick” universe do without Keanu Reeves?
In the upcoming three-part miniseries “The Continental,” which will be made available in this country via Amazon Prime, the plot revolves around young Winston Scott (portrayed here by Colin Woodell), who tries to leave his past behind him in 1970s New York. In the process, he finds himself in the titular hotel and in the parallel society of the underworld. In order to survive, he must seize the Continental.
