The Endgame, the thrilling crime drama that premiered on NBC in February 2022, you might be wondering if there will be a The Endgame Season 2. The series follows Elena Federova, a brilliant criminal mastermind who orchestrates a series of bank heists from prison, and Val Turner, the FBI agent who tries to stop her. The show is full of twists, turns, and surprises that keep viewers on the edge of their seats. But will there be more episodes to enjoy? Here’s everything we know so far about Endgame Season 2.

The Endgame Season 2 Plot: What’s next?

The Endgame Season 2 Plot
NBC

The first season of The Endgame ended with a shocking cliffhanger that left fans eager for more. Elena revealed that her ultimate goal was to expose the truth about President Wright, who was behind the assassination of her husband, a Russian journalist. She also confessed her feelings for Val, who was torn between her duty and her attraction to Elena. Meanwhile, Sergey, Elena’s loyal partner in crime, was captured by the FBI, and Jonathan, Val’s ex-husband and colleague, was shot by an unknown assailant. What will happen next in The Endgame Season 2? Will Elena succeed in bringing down the president? Will Val choose between Elena and Jonathan? Will Sergey escape from custody? And who shot Jonathan? These are some of the questions that we hope will be answered in the second season.

The Endgame Season 2 Cast: Who’s in it?

The Endgame Season 2 Cast
NBC

The Endgame boasts an impressive cast of talented actors who bring the characters to life. The main cast includes:

  • Morena Baccarin as Elena Federova, a charismatic and cunning criminal mastermind who is imprisoned for arms dealing
  • Ryan Michelle Bathe as Val Turner, a principled and relentless FBI agent who leads the task force against Elena
  • Costa Ronin as Sergey Vodianov, Elena’s loyal right-hand man and lover who helps her execute the heists
  • Jordan Johnson-Hinds as Anthony Flowers, a hacker and former FBI informant who works for Elena
  • Mark D. Espinoza as Rogelio Réal, a corrupt prison warden who assists Elena in exchange for money
  • Noah Bean as Jonathan Doak, Val’s ex-husband and fellow FBI agent who is secretly working for President Wright
  • Kamal Angelo Bolden as Owen Turner, Val’s brother and a former cop who is now a private investigator

The supporting cast includes Sasha Roiz as President Andrew Wright, Melissa Farman as Natalia, Elena’s sister-in-law and Sergey’s sister, Jenna Stern as Joan Bradbury, Val’s boss at the FBI, Keith Nobbs as The Serial Skeptic, a conspiracy theorist podcaster who helps Elena expose the president, and Gwendolyn Ellis as Julia Swanstrom, a journalist who is investigating the heists.

We expect most of the main cast to return for The Endgame Season 2, unless their characters are killed off or written out in the finale. We also hope to see some new faces join the show as new allies or enemies for Elena and Val.

Will there be The Endgame Season 2?

NBC has decided not to renew its crime drama The Endgame for a second season, according to Deadline. The show, which starred Wesley Snipes as a former intelligence operative and Philip Winchester as a security expert, was part of NBC’s Monday night lineup. The Endgame premiered in February 21, 2022 and averaged 2 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

The show was praised for its action sequences and Snipes’ performance, but failed to generate enough buzz or ratings to justify a second season. The Endgame was one of several new shows that NBC launched in the fall, along with Blindspot, Heroes Reborn, and The Player. Only Blindspot has been renewed so far, while Heroes Reborn and The Player have also been canceled. The Endgame’s final episode aired on May 2, 2022.

The Endgame Season 2 Release Date: Speculation!

The Endgame Season 2 Release Date
NBC

Assuming that NBC does renew The Endgame for Season 2, when can we expect it to premiere? Well, considering that the first season debuted in February 2022 as part of NBC’s midseason lineup, we can speculate that the second season might follow a similar schedule and arrive in early 2024. However, this is not a guarantee, as NBC might decide to move the show to a different time slot or delay it due to production issues or other factors. For now, we can only hope that The Endgame will return for Season 2 sometime in 2024.
