Fans had to wait almost eight years, now it’s finally official. The humorous anime series The Devil is a Part-Timer continues with the 2nd season.
Because he has lost his magical powers, the demon king Sadao has to pursue a measly temporary job in a fast-food restaurant. He meets the heroine Emilia, who was also forced to build a life in Japan, as well as other acquaintances, but not all of them are friendly to him. Fans will soon find out how the story continues.
The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 confirmed with teaser trailer
As part of the Kadokawa Light-Novel Expo, it was announced that the anime adaptation of The Devil is Part-Timer will receive a 2nd season. When exactly this will start is not yet known, but there is already a first teaser trailer:
Since the trailer consists mostly of scenes from the first season, not much can be said about the plot. The only thing that is certain is that fans have been waiting for the sequel since June 2013 and have even started several petitions for it.
The Devil is a Part-Timer is based on the light novel series of the same name by Japanese author Satoshi Wagahara, which was published in 2011. The anime adaptation was created two years later in the studio White Fox and can be legally streamed on Amazon Prime Video*.
