The Boys Season 4 has some new characters in store. Jeffrey Dean Morgan also stars in the season and checks in with his fans with a special photo.
- The 4th season of the superhero series “The Boys” or The Boys Season 4 could start at the end of the year on Amazon Prime Video.
- The Boys Season 4 has some new cast members in store for you. One of them is “TWD” star Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
- A social media photo of the actor now shows that he has arrived well in “The Boys” team.
The Boys Season 4 is currently filming for Amazon Prime Video. Newcomer Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“The Walking Dead“) is also taking part, and he shared a NSFW photo from the set with his fans on Twitter. This shows how the actor stretches his middle finger into the camera in front of a mirror. Morgan was already supposed to get a role in the prime series in season 3, but was prevented by “The Walking Dead” filming.
The picture bears the caption “At work” (“Bei der Arbeit”). The photo was responded to by the Twitter account of “The Boys.” The latter wrote to Morgan that he had already mastered the official “Boys” greeting, to which he replied that this was the reason why he got the job in the first place. The middle finger appears in almost every episode of “The Boys” and is mostly used by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban).
Series creator Eric Kripke (“Supernatural”) and his team have so far kept mum about what role Jeffrey Dean Morgan will take on in Season 4. Since Starlight (Erin Moriarty) quit the Seven, Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) faked her own death, and Black Noir was killed by Homelander (“Banshee” actor Antony Starr), three spots have opened up with the Supes.
Could Morgan take one of those? Since his portrayal of Negan in “The Walking Dead,” the actor has been known for portraying hateful characters, so he would be a good fit for the Supe team.
But since it has already been announced that Susan Heyward (“Hello Tomorrow!”) will be hired as Sister Sage, Valorie Curry (“The Tick”) as Firecracker and Nathan Mitchell (“Ginny & Georgia”) as Vought’s Black Noir successor, there is no room left for Morgan.
So we can only guess what role he will play in the new season. One possibility remains the character of the sex-addicted Batman-verse Tek Night, which would be perfectly cast with Morgan. The latter has already expressed his sadness at not being able to take over the Flashpoint version of Batman in “The Flash” and would certainly be happy to slip into a different kind of Dark Knight.
It’s still a few months until we get to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan in The Boys Season 4. Until then, the Amazon Prime Video novelties provide good streaming tips. We also tell you which titles Amazon Prime Video will be deleting soon.
