US streaming service Hulu has extended the series “The Bear – King of the Kitchen” for a 2nd season. Now the start month has been announced and a teaser has been released.

  • In the U.S., the FX series has already started in June 2022 on the streaming service Hulu.
  • Season 2 is already scheduled to start in the summer of 2023. Now the exact start month has been announced.

The dramedy “The Bear – King of the Kitchen” enchanted viewers in the summer of 2022 on the US streaming service Hulu with its 1st season. Also the series launched on Disney+ last fall. Shortly after the US launch, fans could already rejoice, because Hulu has officially extended the series for a 2nd season.

A first teaser for the 2nd season of “The Bear” has appeared during the commercial break of the Oscars 2023 and shows the closure of Carmy’s restaurant The Original Beef of Chicagoland. Not only is the place set to reopen, but it’s about to be reborn.

In addition, series creator Christopher Storer revealed to the US magazine Variety that Carmy will continue to deal with his inner conflicts as well as the death of his brother in season 2. Will the young man be able to conquer his inner demons in the new episodes?

Christopher Storer is the mastermind behind “The Bear.” He serves as executive producer of the series along with Joanna Calo, Hiro Murai, Nate Matteson and Josh Senior. Tyson Bidner and Matty Matheson are co-executive producers of the series. “The Bear” is produced by FX Productions. At the 2023 Golden Globes, lead actor Jeremy Allen White won the Golden Globe in the category of “Best Actor in a TV Comedy Series” for his role Carmy.
