Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut tells the crazy story of a prince at an all-female academy. When will Season 2 of the anime series be released on Netflix?

Modeled after the light novel series, studio Lerche produced an anime for Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut, which first aired on Japanese television in 2016. Since November 2018, all 12 episodes can also be watched on the streaming provider Netflix. But what about Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut Season 2?

Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut: This is the plot

Five years ago, a revolt overthrew the Arcadia Empire. When the former prince of the realm, Lux Arcadia, accidentally enters a women-only bathing area and sees the new princess naked, he not only ignites her anger, but promptly finds himself in a drag-ride duel with her.

Drag rides are old armored weapons found scattered throughout the ruins of the world. After his duel with Princess Lisesharte, Lux begins – more or less voluntarily – to attend an all-female academy that trains nobles to become drag knights. There he can finally prove his hidden abilities.

Will there be a season 2 of Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut?

So far, it is uncertain whether Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut will still receive a 2nd season. The creators have not made an announcement about the possible sequel since the end of the first season. However, there is hope: The light novel template penned by Senri Akatsuki offers more than enough material for some new episodes.

There is no official release date for Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut Season 2. It is good news because there is no information about the series being canceled. It can also be a piece of bad news, though, depending on what you want to believe. But so far, there is no certainty about the renewal for the second season.

Should new information about the anime series be revealed, we will try to renew this article in a timely manner. So far, however, we can only speculate and assume that no sequel will be released on Netflix this year.

Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut: Action

Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle is a Japanese light novel series, written by Senri Akatsuki and illustrated by Ayumu Kasuga and Yuichi Murakami. SB Creative published twenty volumes from August 12, 2013 to August 6, 2020 under their GA Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation written by Itsuki Watanabe, with art by Fumi Tadauri, was serialized by Square Enix and GA Bunko’s online magazine Gangan Online from July 17, 2014 to May 11, 2018. It has been collected in eleven tankōbon volumes. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by Lerche aired between January 11 and March 28, 2016.

Lux, a former prince of an empire named Arcadia that was overthrown via a rebellion five years earlier, accidentally trespasses in a female dormitory’s bathing area, sees the kingdom’s new princess Lisesharte naked, incurring her wrath. Lisesharte then challenges Lux to a Drag-Ride duel. Drag-Rides are ancient armored mechanical weapons that have been excavated from ruins all around the world. Lux used to be called the strongest Drag-Knight, but now he’s known as the “undefeated weakest” Drag-Knight because he will absolutely not attack in battle. After his duel with Lisesharte, Lux ends up attending the female-only academy that trains royals to be Drag-Knights.
