Making the Cut, the reality show that pits aspiring designers against each other for a chance to win a million dollars and launch their own brand. The show, hosted by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, has been a hit on Amazon Prime Video since its debut in 2020. But after three seasons of fierce challenges, stunning runway shows, and emotional eliminations, what’s next for Making the Cut? Here’s everything we know so far about Making the Cut Season 4.

Making the Cut Season 4: What’s next?

The premise of Making the Cut is simple: 12 designers from around the world compete in various fashion-related tasks, such as creating a capsule collection, designing for a pop-up shop, or collaborating with a celebrity. Each week, one or more designers are eliminated based on their performance and feedback from the judges, who include Naomi Campbell, Nicole Richie, Joseph Altuzarra, and Chiara Ferragni. The last designer standing wins the grand prize of one million dollars and the opportunity to sell their collection on Amazon Fashion.

The show is not only about fashion, but also about the personal stories and struggles of the contestants, who come from diverse backgrounds and have different visions and styles. Some of the memorable moments from the previous seasons include Jonny Cota’s emotional win in Season 1, Andrea Pitter’s inspiring journey as a bridal designer in Season 2, and Gary Graham’s unconventional approach to sustainability in Season 3.

While the exact format of Season 4 is not yet revealed, we can expect more of the same formula that has made the show so popular: exciting challenges, glamorous locations, celebrity guests, and of course, lots of drama. The show is known for its twists and surprises, so we can also anticipate some unexpected turns and shocking outcomes.

Making the Cut Season 4 Cast: Who’s in it?

The cast of Making the Cut Season 4 has not been officially announced yet, but we can assume that Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn will return as the hosts and mentors of the show. They are the heart and soul of Making the Cut, providing guidance, support, and sometimes tough love to the contestants. Their chemistry and charisma are undeniable, and their catchphrases (“Make it work!” “One day you’re in, and the next day you’re out!”) have become iconic.

As for the judges, it’s possible that some of them will reprise their roles from previous seasons, while others might be replaced by new faces. The show has featured a rotating panel of judges from different fields of fashion, such as designers, editors, influencers, and models. Some of the names that have appeared on the show include Carine Roitfeld, Winnie Harlow, Jeremy Scott, Prabal Gurung, and Tommy Hilfiger.

The most important part of the cast, however, are the contestants themselves. The show has showcased some of the most talented and diverse designers in the industry, who have brought their own flair and personality to the competition. Some of them have gone on to achieve success and recognition after the show, such as Jonny Cota (Season 1 winner), who launched his brand Skingraft on Amazon Fashion; Esther Perbandt (Season 1 runner-up), who collaborated with Adidas; and Andrea Pitter (Season 2 winner), who designed a wedding dress for Cynthia Bailey.

We don’t know yet who will be competing in Season 4, but we can expect another batch of creative and ambitious designers who will impress us with their skills and stories.

Will there be Making the Cut Season 4?

The good news is that Making the Cut has been renewed for a fourth season by Amazon Prime Video. The announcement was made in June 2021 by Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios. She said: “We are thrilled to announce a fourth season of Making The Cut with Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn. This global series has connected with audiences around the world with its authentic portrayal of aspiring entrepreneurs pursuing their dreams.”

The bad news is that we don’t know when exactly Season 4 will premiere. The production of the show has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused delays and challenges for filming. The first season was filmed in 2019 in various locations such as New York City, Paris, Tokyo, and Los Angeles, and premiered in March 2020. The second season was filmed in early 2020 in Los Angeles before the lockdowns began, and premiered in July 2021. The third season was filmed in late 2020 in Miami under strict safety protocols, and premiered in October 2021.

Given this timeline, we can assume that Season 4 will be filmed sometime in late 2021 or early 2022, depending on the availability of the cast and crew and the travel restrictions in different countries. If we’re lucky, we might see Season 4 in late 2022 or early 2023, but this is just speculation at this point.

Making the Cut Season 4 Release Date: Speculation!

Since there is no official release date for Season 4 yet, we can only speculate based on the previous seasons and the current situation of the pandemic. As mentioned above, the first season premiered in March 2020, the second season in July 2021, and the third season in October 2021. This means that there was a gap of 16 months between Season 1 and Season 2, and a gap of 3 months between Season 2 and Season 3.

If we follow this pattern, we can expect Season 4 to premiere sometime in 2023 or 2024, assuming that the production will start soon and that there will be no major disruptions or delays. However, this is a very optimistic scenario, and there are many factors that could affect the release date, such as the availability of the cast and crew, the travel restrictions in different countries, the budget and resources of the show, and the demand and competition from other shows.

Therefore, we should take this speculation with a grain of salt and wait for an official announcement from Amazon Prime Video or the showrunners. Until then, we can rewatch the previous seasons or check out some similar shows that might satisfy our fashion cravings.

Making the Cut Season 4 Trailer: Is there a teaser?

Unfortunately, there is no trailer or teaser for Season 4 yet, as the show has not started filming yet. The trailers for the previous seasons were released about a month before their premiere dates, so we can expect a similar timeline for Season 4. The trailers usually feature snippets of the challenges, the runway shows, the judges’ reactions, and the contestants’ personalities and conflicts.

The trailers also reveal some of the locations and guests that will appear on the show. For example, the trailer for Season 3 showed that the show was filmed in Miami and that some of the guests included Camila Cabello, Pharrell Williams, and Karlie Kloss. The trailer for Season 4 might reveal some of the new destinations and celebrities that will be involved in the show.

Until we get a trailer or teaser for Season 4, we can watch the trailers for the previous seasons on YouTube or on Amazon Prime Video‘s website.
