The first trailer for “Fast Furious 10” has finally been released and at just under 4 minutes long, it’s almost a little short film. Check out the video!
- “Fast Furious 10” aims to significantly outdo the action of the previous films.
- This could also succeed, as the trailer for the film now spectacularly proves.
- In the new film, the Torettos once again have to deal with Cipher, but also with Jason Momoas Dante.
In less than a year, “Fast Furious 10” will usher in the grand, two-part finale of the “Fast Furious” series. It has already been confirmed that “Aquaman” Jason Momoa as the villain and Marvel star Brie Larson in an as yet unknown role are in the game. Viewers of the PS franchise will also see Jordana Brewster again as Dom’s sister Mia Toretto – after an intervention by Vin Diesel’s daughter.
Unclear or not yet officially confirmed, however, was the return of Dame Helen Mirren (“The Queen”) as Queenie Shaw, the mother of Deckard (Jason Statham), Hattie (Vanessa Kirby) and Owen (Luke Evans).
The “Fast Furious” saga has of course been extraordinarily successful for over two decades, but the trailer for “Fast & Furious 9” already proved that the increasingly insane adventures of the Toretto clan work best in small doses.
Because while the “Fast Furious 9” trailer, at just under 4 minutes long, was very well received by fans and contained the perfect mix of plot, action and surprises (Han lives!), the finished film was rather too much of a good thing.
However, this also explains why the release of the trailer for “Fast Furious 10” has now been celebrated with a fan event and a trailer for the trailer. Not only are the first scenes from the highly anticipated film available for viewing, but perhaps the trailer is even better than the finished film itself!
Still, there is no doubt that the trailer, which is once again very long, makes you want more. Jason Momoa’s villain Dante looks like an interesting adversary with connections to the 5th “Fast & Furious” movie, although of course it can’t be ruled out that he, like so many previous antagonists, will join the Torettos in the end and thus expand the family even further.
By the way, “Fast Furious 11,” the grand finale of the “Fast Furious” saga, is expected in 2024. It remains exciting whether we will see not only Giselle back from the dead, but also Robert Downey Jr. as a new villain.
