You Season 5 Plot: What’s next?
Season 4 of “You” ended with Joe Goldberg returning to New York along with his latest obsession, Kate. Joe uses his girlfriend’s press expertise to bring out “the truth” – at least the part he would have liked to reveal.
So his ex-wife Love Quinn now stands publicly as a killer, while he profits from the story under his real name. All this while framing his former student Nadia for his murders in London.
You Season 5: Cast and Production
In season 5 of You, we once again see Penn Badgley as serial killer Joe Goldberg. Also playing a role is Charlotte Ritchie as his lover Kate Galvin.
The teaser trailer also features Tati Gabrielle as Marienne Bellamy, John Stamos as Dr. Nicky, Nathalie Paul as Karen Minty, Luca Padovan as Paco, Joe’s son, Jenna Ortega (“Wednesday”) as Ellie Alves, Shalita Grant and Travis Van Winkle as Sherry and Cary Conrad, and Tilly Keeper as Phoebe Borehall-Blaxworth and Amy-Leigh Hickman as Nadia. All of these characters have survived encounters with Joe over the past four seasons. Are any of them now responsible for Joe’s demise?
Season 5 also brings some changes behind the scenes of the series. For example, previous showrunner Sera Gamble is stepping down from her post. Instead, previous executive producers (EP) Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo will take over her position for the finale. Gamble, however, will remain with the series as EP.
