A contract killer reappears after some time after she learns that her daughter is in danger. Already several years ago, the mother gave her child into other hands when she was on the run from dangerous men. Now her daughter’s life – and her own – is threatened again.

The main role of the hitwoman and mother is played by Jennifer Lopez (“Shades of Blue”, “Shotgun Wedding”). The daughter is embodied by Lucy Paez. They are joined in front of the camera by Joseph Fiennes (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Omari Hardwick (“Army of Dead”), Gael García Bernal (“Mozart in the Jungle”), Paul Raci and Jesse Garcia, among others.

The film is produced by producers Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Jennifer Lopez, Benny Medina, Roy Lee, Marc Evans, Miri Yoon, Misha Green and Courtney Baxter, as well as production companies Nuyorican Productions and Vertigo Entertainment. Meanwhile, Niki Caro (Disney’s live-action adaptation of “Mulan”) served as executive director. Misha Green, Andrea Berloff and Peter Craig were responsible for the screenplay.
