“Single Drunk Female” will return to US broadcaster Freeform and streaming service Disney+ with season 2. This was confirmed by the series creators on Instagram. We reveal everything that is known so far about the new episodes.
Single Drunk Female season 2: Launch
US broadcaster Freeform announced that the second season of “Single Drunk Female” will start on Wednesday, April 12. In addition, already on April 13, all ten episodes of the new season can be streamed on Hulu. In this country, the series will be available on Disney+.
Single Drunk Female season 2: Plot
Season 1 ended with Sam breaking up with James after he relapsed at Brit’s wedding. Afterwards, she consoled Brit, who was beside herself after consummating her marriage with Joel despite having great doubts.
So, in season 2, we will see how Sam is doing after the breakup and if she manages to stay sober. In addition, we should see if James manages to renounce alcohol again and how Brit and Joel’s marriage develops.

Also in season 2 we should see Sofia Black-D’Elia (“Your Honor”) as Samantha Fink, Rebecca Henderson (“Inventing Anna”) as Olivia, Sasha Compère (“Love Life”) as Brit, Lily Mae Harrington as Felicia, Garrick Bernard as James, and Ally Sheedy (“Psych”) as Carol again.
In addition, Busy Philipps (“Girls5Eva”) and Ricky Velez (“The King of Staten Island”) have been announced for the new episodes. Charlie Hall (“The Sex Lives of College Girls”) will also return as Sam’s ex-boyfriend Joel.
As previously announced, Sheedy will reunite with her “Breakfast Club” co-star Molly Ringwald in the upcoming season, who will take on a guest role as Carol’s sister-in-law Alice.
