Reunion on the High Seas. On March 16, 2023, the 2nd season of the successful fantasy series “Shadow and Bone” will start on Netflix. In the new episodes, we will finally find out what happens next in Alina and Mal’s adventure. Last we saw the two on board a ship with the goal of getting as far away as possible.
And also at the beginning of Shadow and Bone season 2, it helps if you don’t get seasick quickly, because there’s no mainland in sight yet. On Sturmhond’s ship, the couple makes the powerful privateer an offer he can’t refuse. As a scene that Netflix shared on Twitter shows.
In the short video, we see Alina and Mal negotiating with Sturmhond in an early episode of the new season. They are trying to convince the navigator to tear down the Shadow Wall with them. To do so, they plan to hunt Morozova’s sea serpent. What would probably have deterred others, however, seems to be particularly exciting for Sturmhond.
The alliance between Alina, Mal and Sturmhond in the fight against the Dark One will be crucial for the story of “Shadow and Bone”. But we won’t tell you more. Readers of the books already know more, of course. However, how the series will depict the collaboration remains unknown for the time being, even for bookworms.
