The anime comedy continues! Rent-a-Girlfriend season 3 will launch in Japan in a few months. Also, fans can admire a new promotional poster.
Rent-a-Girlfriend has apparently been a huge success so far. The anime series, which is based on the manga* of the same name by Reiji Miyajima, is being updated with new seasons on a regular basis. The now third season is scheduled to air on Japanese television in a few months. More precisely, it is from July 2023 so far, as reported by an official Twitter account.
For this purpose, the following teaser image was published, which shows the girls of the series in white dresses. What awaits us in the third season is not yet known. Manga readers, however, should already have an idea. After all, the drawn template is adapted in detail by the studios TMS Entertainment and COMET.
Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 3: Producers return for another round
TMS Entertainment and COMET are also involved in the third season. Shin’ya Une (Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer) will direct, while Mitsutaka Hirota (Eden’s Zero) is responsible for the script. The character designs are being created by Kanna Hirayama (Selection Project).
The anime comedy currently consists of two seasons with a total of 24 episodes. You can stream them all at Crunchyroll in English. In all likelihood, the provider will also secure the rights to the third season and show it in simulcast. This means we could see the new episodes right after their TV premiere.
