The trailer for the series is somewhat reminiscent of “A Devil Wears Prada”. Kim Catrall plays the badass beauty boss Madolyn Addison, who takes her protégé Marco under her wing. She makes it clear to the makeup fan that the job doesn’t just involve glitter and glamour, but also hard work.

“Glamorous” is about the young queer Marco Mejia, who does not define himself by gender. Marco’s life is at a standstill and doesn’t really seem to be moving forward until he lands a job with makeup legend Madolyn Addison. Through his new job, he finally gets a chance to figure out what he wants to do with his life. He also realizes what it means to be queer in the first place.

The main role in “Glamorous” is embodied by YouTube personality Ben J. Pierce (“Love, Victor”) aka Miss Benny. Miss Benny plays queer Marco Mejia alongside “Sex and the City” star Kim Cattrall as Madolyn Addison.
