Toby is suddenly single again at 40 and has to cope with a new life. We reveal whether there will be a season 2 of “Fleishman is in Trouble“.
Toby Fleishman (Jesse Eisenberg) is a hepatologist, a doctor who deals with liver and bile ducts, and lives in New York. He is in the middle of a divorce war with his wife Rachel (Claire Danes). The situation escalates when one day, out of the blue, she leaves the two children they have together with Toby and disappears without a trace. “Fleishman is in Trouble” traces Toby’s story and is narrated by his college girlfriend Libby (Lizzy Caplan). The miniseries is based on the bestseller of the same name. We tell you how likely a season 2 of the series is.
Fleishman is in Trouble Season 2: Is Still Coming?
The novel of the same name for the series “Fleishman is in Trouble” climbed the bestseller lists immediately after its release in 2019. Not at all a matter of course for a first novel. Even more remarkable is that author Taffy Brodesser-Akner herself took on the series adaptation. With an exciting cast that features stars such as Josh Radnor, Christian Slater and Adam Brody in addition to the main actors, the eight-episode series offers a stirring drama story. Despite the largely positive response to the series, it looks rather bad for a Fleishman is in Trouble season 2. That’s because Season 1 is set up as a limited miniseries and includes the entire book that serves as the series’ template.
