The story of “Emergence” begins in Southold, Long Islang, with a plane crash and a 10-year-old girl (Alexa Swinton) who lacks any memory. Police officer Jo Evans (Allison Tolman) takes in the girl and names her Piper. Piper and Jo’s daughter Mia (Ashley Aufderheide) become friends. It soon turns out that Piper is no ordinary girl and has telekinetic powers. The series develops an exciting story around artificial intelligence, androids, cybercrime and the eternal struggle between good and evil.
