Into the Wild was released in 2004. The movie is based on the true character of a college graduate Christopher McCandless.

Christopher like Christopher Columbus wants to live an unorthodox life exploring the world. Christopher was inspired by the hitchhiking fables of Jack London and Henry David Thoreau.

He lives a life in the outdoors of Alaska trying to find the meaning of life and his existence. Well, that’s what mavericks do. They can’t understand the fuss of society and never adjust to it instead, they find peace outside of it.

The story redefines the way of living and how finding a meaningful life in simplicity is easier than in the luxuries of the world. The dreadful ending of McCandless’s life can be depressing for some but it’s the way to achieve the fullest of your life.

Rocky Balboa’s steadfastness to achieve his dreams is impeccable. The story of Rocky presents to us how humans are capable of literally achieving anything with sheer determination.
