In early 2023, ABC will launch the fifth season of the drama series A Million Little Things, which will then probably also bring closure. The decision to discontinue the format soon had been made by mutual agreement.

A Million Little Things Season 5: Release Date

The final fifth season (A Million Little Things Season 5) is now expected in early 2023.

A Million Little Things is coming to an end soon. As TVLine reports, network ABC has agreed with showrunner DJ Nash to conclude the drama series with its fifth season. The fact that this still comes at all, was at the past Upfronts in May, anyway already a shaky number. That’s why the now decided conclusion comes as little surprise, even though the station has not yet officially taken a position.

In its fourth season, “A Million Little Things” averaged 4.1 million people watching (live audience plus DVR stragglers within seven days). That equates to a 0.7 rating in the advertising-relevant target group between the ages of 18 and 49. The numbers were thus down nearly 30 percent from a year earlier. Of all eight ABC dramas on the air last season, the series thus landed in sixth place.

“A Million Little Things” revolves around a group of friends from Boston who met through unexpected circumstances and have stuck together ever since. Some of them are successful, while others are struggling with both careers and personal lives. But all of them feel stuck. When one dies, it’s a wake-up call for all of them. As they embark on a new path in life, they realize that friends are the only ones who can save you from yourself.
