“Slow Horses” has been extended for no less than two more seasons before the start of season 2. We reveal what is known so far about the new episodes of the Apple TV+ series.
- “Slow Horses” was given a 3rd and 4th season by Apple TV+ even before the start of the 2nd season in December 2022.
- The new episodes of the spy drama series have already been produced.

Even before the start of the 2nd season, streaming service Apple TV+ ordered seasons 3 and 4 of the spy series “Slow Horses”. The two seasons will implement the next two novels of the Mick Herron spy series “Slough House”.
Slow Horses Season 3: Launch
The 3rd season has already been filmed and is scheduled to be released in 2023. Apple TV+ has not yet announced an exact date. However, it can be assumed that the new episodes will be released in the summer of 2023.
Slow Horses Season 3: Storyline
The 3rd season of “Slow Horses” follows Jackson Lamb, the head of Slough House, a division of MI5. Lamb’s disgraced spies join forces in the new episodes to expose a rogue agent. In the process, a kidnapping occurs.
Slow Horses Season 3: Cast
In the 3rd season Gary Oldman (“The Darkest Hour”), of course, once again takes on the role of Jackson Lamb. He is surrounded by greats like Saskia Reeves (“Creation Stories”) as Catherine Standish, Jack Lowden (“Dunkirk”) as River Cartwright, Rosalind Eleazar (“Death in Paradise”) as Louisa Guy, Dustin Demri-Burns (“GameFace”) as Min Harper and Christopher Chung (“Waterloo Road”) as Roddy Ho.
Also joining the cast since Season 2. are Kadiff Kirwan (“Everyone Else Burns”) as Marcus Longridge and Aimee-Ffion Edwards (“Peaky Blinders”) as Shirley Dander. In Season 3, Sope Dirisu (“Mr. Malcolm’s List”) joins the cast as Sean Donovan.
Slow Horses Season 3: Production
The series is produced by See-Saw Films for Apple TV and adapted for television by Will Smith (“Back”). Jamie Laurenson (“The Essex Serpent”), Hakan Kousetta (“The Autopsy of Jane Doe”), Iain Canning (“The King’s Speech”), Emile Sherman (“Heartstopper”), Douglas Urbanski (“Crisis”), Gail Mutrux (“The Danish Girl”), Jane Robertson (“The Secret Garden”) and Graham Yost (“Justified”) serve as executive producers.
Slow Horses Season 3: Trailer
There is currently no trailer for the 3rd season. However, since production has already started, it shouldn’t be long before a trailer is released.
