Sammi Haney, a member of the “Raising Dion” cast, announced on Instagram that the series would end after two seasons and 17 episodes. Viewership plummeted noticeably shortly after the start of the second season, according to Netflix. As a result, there will be no third season of the original.
The U.S. superhero Netflix original “Raising Dion” started in 2019 and entered its second round in early February. The story about Dion, who suddenly develops supernatural abilities after the death of his father, was well received by viewers*.

After Dion defeated the Crooked Man in season 1, he continues to work on his powers in the second season. He is supported by his new trainer Tevin. Dion’s class includes a student with similar telepathic powers to his own.
The two quickly become friends – but when the Crooked Man’s energy possesses Brayden (Griffin Robert Faulkner), Dion and Nicole must once again put themselves in danger to protect Atlanta. The second season ends with another victory over the villain – Brayden is himself again.
However, there is a post-credit scene in which a much older Dion fights Pat. There are several theories as to what this scenario means. One of them is that Dion comes from the future to stop Pat.
So the cliffhanger offers a lot of potential and leaves fans hoping for another season. And now, the series has been officially canceled by Netflix, So there will be no Raising Dino season 3.

What is Raising Dion about?
