Winter Bathroom Remodel Costs in Kent, WA: What to Expect

Your bathroom is an important room in your home....

“You” is getting a 5th season from Netflix. But at the same time, the new episodes will be the series finale. Penn Badgley reveals Joe’s return to New York in the first teaser trailer.

  • Netflix extends “You” for a 5th season.
  • However, this marks the end of the series – season 5 is the finale of “You”.
  • In it, Joe returns to New York. However, Penn Badgley reveals that someone from Joe’s past is catching up with him.

Joe Goldberg has to dust off his baseball cap once again, because “You” has been renewed by Netflix for a 5th season. But this is the last time that Penn Badgley will slip into the role of the disturbed psycho killer, because season 5 also represents the big series finale.

You Season 5 Release Date: When will it start?

There is no exact release date yet for You Season 5, but Netflix has revealed that we can expect the final episodes in 2024.

You Season 5 Trailer: Is there a teaser?

Trailer might be a little high-brow here, but Netflix released a teaser trailer at the Brazilian Tudum event in which lead actor Penn Badgley talks about the new episodes.

A person from Joe’s past is out to get him and his return to New York brings so many problems.

You Season 5 Plot: What’s next?

Season 4 of “You” ended with Joe Goldberg returning to New York along with his latest obsession, Kate. Joe uses his girlfriend’s press expertise to bring out “the truth” – at least the part he would have liked to reveal.

So his ex-wife Love Quinn now stands publicly as a killer, while he profits from the story under his real name. All this while framing his former student Nadia for his murders in London.

You Season 5: Cast and Production

In season 5 of You, we once again see Penn Badgley as serial killer Joe Goldberg. Also playing a role is Charlotte Ritchie as his lover Kate Galvin.

The teaser trailer also features Tati Gabrielle as Marienne Bellamy, John Stamos as Dr. Nicky, Nathalie Paul as Karen Minty, Luca Padovan as Paco, Joe’s son, Jenna Ortega (“Wednesday”) as Ellie Alves, Shalita Grant and Travis Van Winkle as Sherry and Cary Conrad, and Tilly Keeper as Phoebe Borehall-Blaxworth and Amy-Leigh Hickman as Nadia. All of these characters have survived encounters with Joe over the past four seasons. Are any of them now responsible for Joe’s demise?

Season 5 also brings some changes behind the scenes of the series. For example, previous showrunner Sera Gamble is stepping down from her post. Instead, previous executive producers (EP) Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo will take over her position for the finale. Gamble, however, will remain with the series as EP.
