To make it short and sweet: No, a 7th season of Peaky Blinders is not planned. The series will come to an end as planned with the last episode of season 6.

However, resourceful fans will have noticed that Season 6 ends with a cliffhanger. A rather unsatisfying ending that “Peaky Blinders” didn’t deserve. Fortunately, it has already been known since 2021 that a film is to follow after Season 6, which is to bring the crime series to a rounded conclusion.

Depending on the success and plot of the film, various spinoff projects in the “Peaky Blinders” universe are also possible after that. Several titles are already being planned.

When will the Peaky Blinders movie be released?

It will still be a while before the “Peaky Blinders” movie is actually released. According to the interview, filming is not scheduled to start until October 2023.

A film release in theaters or on streaming services like Netflix is therefore not expected until 2024.

What happens in the Peaky Blinders movie?

Little is currently known about the plot of the final film. What we know is that the film is to be set during World War 2. After Tommy Shelby finds out at the end of the series that his diagnosis was faked, he will likely be out for revenge or answers in the film.

Presumably, one or the other character will also be drawn into the turmoil of the war. Since the script has not been completed at this point, this is pure speculation.

Who will be in Peaky Blinders?

We will likely see a large part of the series cast again in the final film. We expect to see Cillian Murphy as Thommy Shelby, Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby and Sophie Rundle as Ada Shelby, among others.

The big antagonist in the film could be right-wing radical Oswald Mosley, played by Sam Claflin.

Nothing is known at this time about new additions and departures to the “Peaky Blinders” film.
