In June, a new, promising vampire series called “First Kill” started on Netflix. It is about the young vampire Juliette and the aspiring vampire hunter Calliope, who fall madly in love with each other.
Their families, however, are strictly against it, which threatens to trigger a drama à la “Romeo and Juliet”. The title “First Kill” is ambiguous because Juliette and Cal are both to commit their first murder – of each other. How is this supposed to end?

First Kill Season 2: When is it coming?
So far, Netflix has not yet commented on a possible second season. However, the series started successfully in the top ten and seemed well received by the young target audience.
Therefore, it is only a matter of time before a second season is ordered. However, we won’t get new episodes until 2023 at the earliest.
What is First Kill about?
The first season of “First Kill” revolved around Juliette and Calliope/Cal getting to know each other, whose families are on opposite sides. While one is a young vampire looking for her first victim, the other has to prove herself as a vampire slayer.
It sounds like a duel is preprogrammed. But of course, it turns out differently than expected: Juliette and Cal fall in love, much to the chagrin of their families. A conflict between vampires and hunters threatens to break out. Can their love survive it in the long run?
First Kill Season 2 Plot: What happens next?
The last episode of “First Kill” ended with a surprising cliffhanger when Juliette had to turn Cal’s brother Theo into a vampire. This meant the premature end of their relationship, which Cal ended immediately. Theo has been on the run ever since and is being hunted by his father.
So in First Kill Season 2, Juliette and Cal have a lot to work through to find their way back to each other. Also, the first season brought up the concept of “legacy vampires,” who are directly descended from Lilith and are particularly difficult to kill. So the new episodes could also revolve around how the vampire hunters plan to deal with these particularly strong creatures.
