The Netflix anime DOTA: Dragon’s Blood, which is based on the video game series of the same name, will enter its third round (DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 3) – as early as August 2022.

First and foremost, DOTA is known as a video game. Since last year, however, there has also been an anime series that makes use of the content of the online game. So far, two seasons have been released – another one is to follow very soon. As Netflix revealed during “Geeked Week”, the time has come on August 11, 2022.
DOTA: Dragon’s Blood – Studio Mir Returns for Production
DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is about the Dragon Knight Davion, who has vowed to eradicate all evil in the world. On his travels through the country, he meets a powerful eldworm and Princess Mirana one day and thus gets into an adventure the scale of which he could never have imagined.
The so-called third “book”, like its two predecessors, is produced under the direction of director Ashley Miller (“Thor”), who also acts as screenwriter and showrunner, in studio Mir (“The Legend of Korra”). Ryu Ki Hyun is involved as co-executive producer while Dino Meneghin (“Teen Wolf”) composes the music.
How many new episodes await us this time is uncertain. The first two seasons were quite manageable with a length of eight episodes each. First video material for the third season is not yet available.
